Okay, I knew someone who met (part of?) the cast as part of A Queen Was Born On April 20 Happy Birthday shirt. She said that Dustin Diamond (Screech) was fun and funny and tried his best to make the experience a good one. The podcast How Did This Get Made did an episode on a Mario Lopez movie awhile ago and one of the hosts told a story that makes him sound like even more of A Queen Was Born On April 20 Happy Birthday shirt. Paul (Scheer) was working on a ‘candid camera’ type reality show that was titled something like Best Day Ever, where basically the premise was giving someone a surprise great day where they run into their favourite celebrity or win a prize or something and they don’t realise the show is setting it up. The plan for one woman was that they would run into Mario Lopez (thinking it was a random meeting) who would offer to buy them lunch. He was supposed to take her out to lunch, then the producers and crew realised they didn’t know where he or the woman were and they weren’t answering their cell phones. Turned out he’d hit it off with the woman and taken her back to his house to fuck – while he was in the midst of filming a TV show and ALSO had a girlfriend.
