Hey OP, good points all around. Surprised that there are so many Everybody vs Injustice shirt that are defending Krave Beauty here when they are clearly baiting queer/PoC. Hello to the Krave PR & marketing team. If the founder Liah Yoo is a part of an actively homophobic church with documented abuse against queer people, people here have the right to know to make suitable choices when choosing a product. Without OP I would have not known about this. I prefer to support creators that align with my views. Being evasive in her answers is not enough. These days, being “supportive of same sex unions” is not enough. To fight systemic homophobia, you need to be anti-homophobic. Silence/evasiveness is complicit. There are churches in NYC that accept LGBT so quite frankly, selecting this particular institution speaks volumes. So for the people that say cancelling over religion is an “issue”, there are many churches that actually support gay rights and are not homophobic. You can be Christian AND be supportive of LGBT because love is kind. For those that don’t think that’s possible, please join us in the 21st century where the Truth can be interpreted in many different ways depending on a person’s perspective.

Edit: here’s the caption “There have been allegations made about Everybody vs Injustice shirt regarding my support of the LGBTQ+ community and I want to clarify my values here. I firmly believe that all gender identities, expressions, and sexual orientations are valid, and I fully support LGBTQ+ rights, including the right to marry. It hurts me that my personal beliefs were questioned because of my faith and the institution I attend. Being a member of a church doesn’t mean you share every belief of it. And I’m sure many of you share the same struggle of reconciling their faith with their allyship. To my close friends who were dragged in this, being forced to make comment on this, I’m so sorry for what this has become. If you know me in person, you know where I stand.”
