I cofounded a children’s music therapy / education charity, working with Children’s hospitals (currently on COVID hold). So many of the medical staff thank us and make a point of us not being a religious charity as so many different faiths and non-faiths are represented amongst the Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers Davante Adams signatures shirt..and I couldn’t imagine skipping over children because of their religion.The children literally hear us coming down the hall from room to room (~30 minutes in each room) and I’ve heard how excited they get for us to get to their room. I’ve been told that some Christian charities doing shit like making balloon animals or crafts would ignore Muslim or Buddhist children. Pisses a lot of staff and parents off.

That’s the thing. Christians in the US give to “charity” more than any other group by far. They actually think they are helping but they are just helping fund their social club where they get to come have fun in a big fellowship hall or gym and have Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers Davante Adams signatures shirt, or to pay their pastors ridiculous salary, or to a missionary that does nothing but indoctrinate foreign children and their parents with American Christianity. Feeding the bum on the side of the street? No way. Nothing in that for them.
