Most atheists never believed in God, because that’s the proper noun used as a Mine Katie Sarah Allyson Shirt for the specific deity that only Christians and Mormons believe in. Jews do not use the full name God, but leave out a letter, even if they aren’t avoiding using another name instead, they write G-d. Muslims usually use the name Allah. But most people aren’t even “people of the book” at all, and instead believe in different deities, Vishnu, Coyote, Thor, etc etc etc. Since people fall away from all forms of belief to become atheist, it follows that most atheists never did believe in “God”, the deity who is named like you might name your pet dog “Dog.” “Simply because their prayers weren’t answered” doesn’t cut it, either, although I suppose it is true for some. Atheists differ wildly from each other, not just in what, if anything, they used to believe in, and perforce how they once thought prayer was supposed to work and thus whether or not it was ever answered, but also in the route they took to get here. But taking the thin pie wedge of atheists who were Christian, we still have the apologists who say “sometimes the answer is no” or “God works in mysterious ways” and so forth. Unanswered prayers is a gap that Christians have worked hard to plug, they, on their own, are unlikely to be the single cause of losing faith…although I’ll grant that the shoddy nature of the plugs is likely a contributing factor.
Yes unfortunately. There are no benefits to any form of Brexit. You can’t leave the world’s biggest and richest trade bloc and have a decent economy. The far right agenda of Brexit is all to do with tax evasion , offshore banking ( swerving new EU anti tax avoidance laws coming in in 2019 – coincidence eh) and the far right agenda of stripping workers rights to create a low tax low wage economy feeding like a louse off the rump of the EU. The sad part is that the leave campaign used every lie and fear tactic to convince people that somehow it was the EU responsible for all of the UK’s woes , to a ridiculous degree. People were talking nonsense saying tings like – the EU were undemocratic , that they make all our laws ( not a single UK law was made by the EU ) that they ‘control our borders’ . It was just ridiculous, and then they aimed at the simplest of folk by having lies painted on the Mine Katie Sarah Allyson Shirt of buses and by inferring that the EU was responsible for immigration into the UK from outside the EU , which was ridiculous. . The result is that poor people in the UK who’s only slight protection was from being in the EU , have voted to make themselves poorer and more restricted under a tory government that despises them. They really are the turkeys that voted for Xmas based on dog whistle politics.

I’m about 2.5/3 in this story. My mom, my older sister and I are at the mall during the Christmas season. I’m wearing a cute little dress and just look like a little angel. My sister and I are sitting on a bench while mom shops a few feet away and a sweet little old lady comes up to me, bends down and asks “what so you want for Christmas, dear?” Angelic little me looks up at this lady and I say “cigars, guns and blood.” Mom said that was one of those times where she wanted to deny I was her child. To this day we have no idea where that came from. But, because of the reaction I got that’s what I said I wanted for the entire season that year. The next one happened when I was seven or so. (I think.) I was in occupational therapy and we had an appointment that day. A couple days earlier I had been playing on a Mine Katie Sarah Allyson Shirt swing my dad had made for me and gotten a large rope burn down my back. So, my therapist sees it and asks me what happened. I look at her and say “my mother beats me.” I’m actually surprised she DIDN’T beat me when we got home after that one.

I’m not sure whether it’s cruel or not but I have had my first dog for 10 years now. He is a chihuahua and I never used crates because I don’t feel it’s needed. What is needed is time and patience especially with puppies or any dog who doesn’t quite understand how to behave. when I got my dog I took 7 weeks off as holiday (included Xmas holidays too) I took time to train my pup and get a Mine Katie Sarah Allyson Shirt started. When I went to work I got a walker to take him for half day to continue routine and socialise. It does take time and I believe crates are not needed and I don’t like the thought of them. It cost me quite some money at the start to get my dog started as London prices are high but worth it I am able to leave him home for few hours without issues, my dog never destroyed my things ever had plenty of toys and walks. Not sure how it works for big dogs as I have never had one but as first time fur mummy I think small dogs don’t need crates.
Tucson’s All Souls Procession for Dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) is probably what I miss most about living there. It’s about a 2 mile parade from near the UofA on 4th Ave all the way downtown, you get to see so many families dressed up and celebrating their lost loved ones, lots of floats, and Mine Katie Sarah Allyson Shirt culminates in a fire-dancing celebration…with some people on stilts. It doesn’t sound real when I am writing it, but it’s amazing Tucson Meet Yourself is a great festival that showcases local businesses and restaurants downtown. The 4th Avenue Spring and Winter Street Fairs are awesome – like big flea/craft markets as well as good food, all along the coolest avenue in the neighborhood. Jose Guadalupe Posada, a turn of the century Mexican etching master created images for broadsheets and other publications. Jose created skeletons as saterical characters in political cartoons. Jose created the iconic female cálca (skeleton) known as “Catrina”. Catrina was a representative image of the social elite and rich. I believe in the 1970’s a San Francisco arts organization created the North American version of the El dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) celebration and adopted Posada’s Catrina into the art imagery. From there it took off in North America.
