I can relate. I’m not “essential” but still working from home. I sleep a lot more on weekends since this hit. With running I just get out there with zero pressure. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just get started, see what happens. One day I ran 10 miles, one day I just walked 4. It’s a big accomplishment to just keep moving forward. You can do it! You will feel great after. I’m an essential worker too, not in the medical field either. I inspect power lines to make sure there are no fire/outage hazards. A lot of times I need to go into peoples backyards to see the lines and with a mask on and with everything going on, people are even more skeptical of me than normal. At the end of the day when I don’t feel like working out/running, I try to tell myself to just do it anyways and 9/10 I end up feeling better and avoid the self imposed guilt of missing a day on my training plan.
