Mxmtoon merch sun and moon shirt
I can’t really answer for the 50’s, but when I grew up in the ‘70’s the Mxmtoon merch sun and moon shirt and many moms were stay at homes. My mom wasn’t though. She really couldn’t be. The idyllic scenario of mom at home cleaning and watching her soaps while playing bridge with her buddies next door just didn’t really apply to a lot of families. Having a stay at home mom was a luxury of the upper middle class and the rich. Many families couldn’t do that because they were poor- and there were a lot of them.

My mom grew up in a poor farming family where everyone was expected to Mxmtoon merch sun and moon shirt When she wasn’t in school she worked with my paw paw (and my aunt and uncles) around the farm. She was either in the classroom or she was in the fields/barn without a whole lot of free time. My maw maw was a bit different. She was a school marm (but she was also quick to smile and laugh- a lovely lady if there ever was one) and the choir director/organist (I think Maw Maw was the first person in my family to get a college degree) of their tiny little church “in town” (you know- general store, post office, and an actual blacksmith!). When Maw Maw wasn’t working she was cooking and cleaning (this would be the 1920’s to the 1950’s) AND helping Paw Paw in the fields. So while the women folk were expected to do so called domestic work (Mom was a crackerjack housekeeper and cook!) they also were no strangers to working outside too and earning a paycheck.
