you set aside a specific day for merriment it becomes more of a RIP 10 MARADONA 1960-2020 shirt . I love giving gifts but a specific day that you are required to give them (accompanied by massive advertising pushes and social pressure to shame those who don’t spend enough) places high expectations that cause a gift given on Christmas to be a disappointment, while the same gift as a spontaneous surprise would be loved. Imagine all the girls in the office the week after Christmas comparing what their boyfriends gave them and silently judging each other based on cost and effort. It happens, I see it every year. And it’s nothing against the people who have those conversations, they just naturally come up when everyone gets/gives gifts on the same day after 2 months of constant advertising and media messaging on the competitive nature of Christmas (going back to those damn car commercials again). It turns Christmas into a competition with losers and winners.

Best RIP 10 MARADONA 1960-2020 shirt
These days I try to lay low during Christmas and RIP 10 MARADONA 1960-2020 shirt . I’ll have a quiet dinner with my girlfriend and plan some travel together for a nicer time of year. Nowadays, I like to celebrate achievements or just spontaneously when I’m actually in the mood instead of a day that advertisers say to spend money or you’re a loser and terrible spouse. That’s why I just finished visiting my parents (heading home tomorrow) and booked a trip to Santa Barbara for January with the lady when the holidays have finally cooled off. Still getting to do the things I like, but on my own schedule and without being molested by greedy corporations and judgy advertisers. Not trying to be the Grinch, but the holidays just don’t feel like the holidays anymore. It’s way too forced, stressful, competitive, fake and depressing.
