People seem to think that Happy Holidays is a recent term; this is not the Santa Tupac Ain’t nothin’ but a Christmas party sweater Happy Holidays can be found on MOST of the “original” Christmas cards from the Victorian Era. Why? Because the word “Merry” had (has?) a connotation of drinking and being drunk; remember the phrase from A Christmas Carol “Sorry sir, I was making rather merry last night.”Most of the answers come from those who commented on the movie versions. Honestly however in the books their friendship was less childish and silly. They were a group of friends that consisted of Frodo the oldest, Merry, Pippin and Fredegar “fatty” Bolger and Sam who although smart was also the lowest caste of the group. Merry, Pippin, Fatty and Sam worked together over a decade to be sure that Frodo did not just disappear like Bilbo, creating a group called the Conspirators. Based on the information Sam gathered over that time period they both knew about the Ring and that Frodo would have to leave

Best Santa Tupac Ain’t nothin’ but a Christmas party sweater
My town has an annual Nativity display in the main park downtown that has Santa Tupac Ain’t nothin’ but a Christmas party sweater . Last year they moved it to another part of town; no one asked the City to do this, no one was making a fuss about the Nativity Scene, the City simple thought it would be a “good” thing to do to be sensitive to other religions and those with no religion. I was one of the FIRST to scream about it; even forgetting the religious nature of the display, it has become a tradition in my city, but even beyond that, IT’S CHRISTMAS FOR CHRIST’S SAKE! (The city wound up moving it back; more expense in the name of Political Correctness) If the City put up a Crucifix in that same park in the middle of July, I would lose my mind trying to get it taken down, but again, IT’S CHRISTMAS FOR CHRIST’S SAKE!
