Builds that require trap triggering from enemy movement. Builds that use Vaal souls. Builds that do well vs unmoving targets, and suck vs mobile targets (eg projectile speed too slow, cast time / attack time too slow). Builds that rely on proccing mechanics based on enemy health and damage reduction (resistances, armor, physical damage reduction, etc), eg ailment thresholds, culling strike, stun, overkill damage (eg for Herald of Ash), Doryani’s Prototype vs enemy lightning resistance, Inquisitor vs other Ascendancies that don’t ignore resistances, damage reduction vs small phys hits like Cyclone, etc, etc.

Almost none of the things you listed really issues if you take 2 seconds to think about how to do your test instead of just wailing on the Yes I am old but I saw Alice Cooper on stage signature shirt. Consider what you wanna test, vs what situation. Most bosses haved pretty timed intervals for big attacks so you can already easily figure out how much time you would be dps’ing vs moving. That already lets you figure most of the situations you listed. For the variable resistance questions (pen and inquis) you simply look at your results, and do a little bit of simple math.
